Caring For Your Artisan Bread
Our artisan bread is best enjoyed the day it is baked. With proper care, however, you can enjoy your bread for several days, or longer if frozen.
To retain your bread’s fresh, crisp crust for up to 24 hours, we recommend keeping it in a paper bag at room temperature. After the first day, you should wrap your loaf in a plastic bag.
To restore the fullest flavour of your bread, place it directly on the middle rack of your oven and crisp at 400°F for 4 to 8 minutes.
All of our breads freeze well when wrapped securely in a plastic freezer bag. To retain your bread’s moisture, allow it to completely defrost in the bag before refreshing in your oven at 400°F for 4 to 8 minutes.
